amazing time lapse video! AURORA from SPACE!!!

From NYTIMES.COM/DOTEARTH: Astronaut Don Pettit created an astounding video using a sequence of still images he shot of the aurora borealis (northern lights) from the International Space Station.

NORTHERN LIGHTS - ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO (time lapse)

Our friend Karl Johnston from our facebook group posted this amazing video of the Northern Lights and said that: A photographer who I work with shot this video time lapse of the aurora borealis and surrounding regions of the world's second largest national park - wood buffalo. In Northwest Territories, Canada. View it in HD and large for best effects!

Video description says:

on Jun 14, 2011 Several hundred frames made by myself and put together into time lapse video from 2010 to present in the South Slave region.

This is partly meant as a preview for some projects and film work I have been putting together in conjunction with Karl Johnston Enterprises (www.karljohnston.com)

We have both been doing some film and other imaging work that we will be putting together into a series of movie shorts and possibly a series of shows that will depict the life, land and adventure that can be found in northern Canada. I hope you enjoy!
