Δύο πολύ όμορφες φωτογραφίες από το Yellowknife στον Καναδά, που μας έστειλε ο φίλος της facebook σελίδας μας Dave Brosha! Στην πρώτη απεικονίζεται ο επίσης φίλος Karl Johnston 
κάτω από έναν απερίγραπτο ουρανό! Στη δεύτερη εκτός από το βόρειο σέλας, έχει πιάσει στα αριστερά και μια καταιγίδα!

Two beautiful pics of the northern lights but each one has something more...! Our facebook group friend Dave Brosh did a great job!!! He said: 

1st. "The Composer" Fort Smith photographer, Karl Johnston (and frequent poster to this group), under a sky that is impossible to describe without doing it injustice. Outside Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
2nd."Forces of Nature" This was definitely a first for me. While shooting the aurora borealis last night I was treated - at the same time - to a lightening storm way off in the distance. Check out the cloud in the bottom left as it's lit up by a massive bolt.

Jökulsárlón (lit. "Glacier Lagoon") the largest glacier lagoon or lake in Iceland. He said:  
"I took this one at Jökulsárlón 11 marz 2011 at 21:03:35pm."

Shooting Aurora on the road...

We are so happy when a member of our group sends an aurora picture that just has been shot! In this post we would like to thank Karl Johnston! 
He said on our facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/aurora.selas) about his photo of the Northern Lights: 

"My girlfriend and I were driving back from an arts show this past weekend and she saw aurora fluttering out the window...so we stopped to take some shots! Handheld...shutter speed was as fast as 1/40th of a second in some shots. Here's the best one...they lasted about 5 seconds per burst. Here is one traveling through an outcrop of notilucent clouds"
